Ghost Town Trail opens up recreation along coal mining communities
The 54-mile Ghost Town Trail in Pennsylvania is officially complete after 32 years of construction. The project transformed former railroad beds into a recreational bike path by clearing decades of coal mine waste. Cyclists can now ride through historic coal towns along the restored Blacklick Creek.
