Lee Klingshirn, of Klingshirn Winery in Avon Lake, shows off some of his concord grapes beginning to bloom in early June. Klingshirn Winery currently has 14 acres of grapes growing, with eight of those acres containing the original concord grapes that gave the Klingshirn family their start in the 1930s. Currently, Klingshirn grows 14 acres of grapes ranging from the dry, premium Rieslings and pinot grigio varieties to the sweet and fruity Niagara and Catawba varieties. (Submitted photo)
