A gravatar (or globally recognized avatar) is a square image that appears beside your name when you post on any website or blog that supports them. Gravatars can be any image you choose – but please, keep it family friendly.

How do I get one?

Getting a gravatar is fast, free and easy. You only need your email address and two minutes of free time.

• Step 1. Enter your email address at http://en.gravatar.com/site/signup ^[1].
(Don’t worry, your email is safe from spam with Gravatar.com. If you’d like to be sure, check out their parent company’s Privacy Policy ^[2])
• Step 2. Gravatar.com will send you an email – follow the instructions to activate your account.
• Step 3. Login to http://en.gravatar.com ^[3] with your email address and new password.
• Step 4. Choose any image you’d like. It can be your photo, a cartoon character, a picture of your cat – anything.

Done! Now, when you post comments or use the forums on farmanddairy.com with the email address you registered above, your new image will appear by your name automatically.
