BARNESVILLE, Ohio — The Barnesville Progressive Home Helpers held a meeting Sept. 19 at the Main Street United Methodist Church in Barnesville.

The fair was discussed. This was the last meeting of the club year. The new club year will begin Oct. 10 with a meeting at 10 a.m. at the church and an election of officers at that meeting.

ASHTABULA, Ohio — Celebrate 4-H at the Ashtabula County 4-H carnival from 6-8 p.m. Oct. 5 in the Expo Building on the fairgrounds.

There is no cost and games, food, 4-H information and prizes are provided.

Carnival games that will be available include velcro darts, memory card game, pin the tail on the miniature horse, beefo, feed the dogs, chuck a duck and more.

Along with the games and prizes, hot dogs, cotton candy, popcorn and drinks will be available.
