Jenny Fisher of Dover, Ohio, and Shawn Pawlowski of Seville, Ohio, were visiting a friend in North Carolina and couldn’t leave home without Farm and Dairy. They are pictured here at the historic Alamance Battleground in Burlington, N.C. Fisher gave us a quick history lesson with this photo: The Battle of Alamance was fought in May 1771 as part of the War of the Regulation between the forces of Royal Gov. William Tryon and a band of settlers from western North Carolina who were dissatisfied with the leadership provided by the royal governors.
