Ingredients:
- 2 cups flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 butter, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Directions:
- Cream butter and sugar. Mix dry ingredients and add a little at a time. Add egg and vanilla. Beat well. Chill for 30 minutes.
- Roll dough on a floured surface to ¼-inch to ½-inch thick. Cut into shapes and bake at 400 F for 10 minutes.
- Cool completely on cooling racks and decorate as desired.
