Ingredients:
- 1 lb. ground lamb
- 1 small onion, grated
- 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1/4 cup mixed coriander/cilantro leaves, finely chopped
- 1 1/2 tsp. EACH cumin, coriander, paprika
- 1/2 tsp. EACH cinnamon and cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- 1 tbsp. olive oil
Directions:
- Place all ingredients in a bowl. Mix well with your hands. Measure out 1 heaped tablespoon, and then roll into balls. Repeat with the remaining mixture — you should have 20 to 24 meatballs.
- Heat oil in a large non-stick pan over medium heat. Add half the meatballs and cook, turning to brown all over, for 9 minutes, or until cooked through, 160 F.
- Transfer to a plate and serve with tzatziki sauce.
