– Alchemy Acres Animal Sanctuary will conduct its seventh annual Gavin Ward Memorial Golf Tournament on August 22. It will take place at Olde Dutch Mill Golf Course at 2745 Grandview Road in Lake Milton. The registration fee is $65 per person, and it includes golf cart, beverages, breakfast, lunch and dinner. The format is a Four Person Scramble. Teams that register and pay by August 15 will receive a dozen golf balls per team.

Prizes will be featured on each hole. The Grand Prize is a two year lease on a new Chevy Cruze which would be awarded to a player that achieves a Hole-In-One on the eighth hole. Prizes are donated by Sweeney Chevrolet. Sweeney Chevrolet will also donate $5,000 to Alchemy Acres if someone sinks this hole-in-one on the eighth hole.

The golf tournament is named in honor of Gavin Ward, a special young volunteer at Alchemy Acres who unfortunately passed away at the age of 12.

Proceeds benefit the pets at Alchemy Acres Animal Sanctuary in Salem, Ohio.
