It’s time again for a “What’s Up Your Family Tree” series genealogy class at Salem Public Library! On October 24, 2016 we will explore the topic: DNA Tested – An introduction to Autosomal DNA testing and an overview of what you get when you buy a test kit including a comparison of the three main companies. The program will begin at 6:30pm in the Quaker Room and will be presented by Mary Jamba, a genealogical researcher, speaker and blogger.

Registration is required through the library’s website at www.salem.lib.oh.us or you may call the library at 330-332-0042 for assistance. This program is open to the public and free of cost to attend. The library is located at 821 E. State St., Salem, OH 44460.

About the presenter: Ms. Jamba currently serves as a trustee of the Ohio Genealogical Society, president of the Greater Cleveland Genealogical Society and the DNA User Group Leader at the Computer Assisted Genealogy Group.
