STRUTHERS, Ohio – The sixth annual Red Hawk American Indian Cultural Society Pow Wow, a gathering of American Indians open to the public, will be held Aug. 18 and 19 at Willow Ranch, South Hubbard Road, Coitsville Township, off Route 422.
Hours of the pow wow are 10 a.m. to dusk on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
Cost is $3 for adults, $2 for seniors and children 6-12, children 5 and under are free.
There will be competitive dancing, storytelling by Dolores Santha and appearances by artists Lillian Kane and Wanda Kover.
There will be an interactive craft workshop and native foods, including buffalo, fry bread and Indian tacos.
American Indian and southwestern-style, hand-crafted items, jewelry and artwork will be for sale.
