Auction Roundup — Real estate brings good prices at Kiko auctions

– Auctioneer Randy Compton of Kiko Auctioneers and Realtors, Canton, Ohio, called an auction by the order of Larry and Judy Hepler April 30 in North Benton, Ohio, with 80 registered bidders.

The three-bedroom, two-bath, split-level home sold for $145,000.

The top selling item was a 25-year-old Simplicity tractor for $1,300.

Other top sellers included a fly fishing reel, lawn equipment and furniture.

According to Compton, the sale attracted buyers from West Virginia and Pennsylvania.

– Compton also called a sale by the order of Hollie and Ruth Ferrebee in Marshallville, Ohio, April 25 with 150 registered bidders.

The 45-acre farm with a fixer-upper home and pole buildings sold for $303,000, with approximately 7 bidders vying for the farm.

All the equipment sold very well, especially the Case tractors and a manure spreader.
