Classes prepare potential parents for adopting, fostering children

WARREN, Ohio — Northeast Ohio Adoption Services invites Ohio residents considering adopting or fostering a school-age child or sibling group to a series of timely, informal and informative pre-placement education classes.

NOAS does not charge fees to a family to adopt an Ohio child in care of the child welfare system, and specializes in finding stable, loving families for school-age youngsters and teens. The children can be adopted as individuals or with their brothers or sisters.

Potentially interested singles or couples ages 21 and older can attend at NOAS in Warren at 5000 E. Market St., Suite 26. The education series starts at 6 p.m. Nov. 4 and the last class is 3:30 p.m. Dec. 3.

Reservations are needed for the Pre-Placement Education Classes at NOAS. Make up opportunities for missed classes are available. Call John Hostetler at 800-686-6627, ext. 123 for details by Oct. 27 at the latest.

NOAS is a private, non profit agency serving Ohio families who live within 90 minutes of the offices in Warren and Chagrin Falls. NOAS does not charge fees to families for adoption or to train for foster parenting. Visit online at www.noas.com.
