DEFOREST, Wis. – In response to the recent foot-and-mouth concerns around the world, ABS Global has produced farm biosecurity signs.
“With the recent biosecurity issues being raised internationally, we have decided to make a biosecurity sign available to producers,” said Neil Michael, director of technical services.
“This is in epidemic that has decimated cattle industries across the globe and all measures must be taken to prevent a similar outbreak here in North America.”
The sign measures 12.5 inches high by 16 inches wide and is easily hung from any barn entrance. The sign reads “Stop. Biosecure Area. Visitors by Appointment Only.”
The cost of the sign is $6. The signs are now available by contacting any ABS representative or by calling 1-800-ABS-STUD.
