Drive-it-yourself tour in Coshocton County

COSHOCTON, Ohio – The Coshocton County Ohio State University Extension and Soil and Water Conservation District will again sponsor a drive-it-yourself fall foliage and farm tour from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 20 and noon until 5 p.m. Oct. 21 in Coshocton County.
This year’s tour will highlight the southeastern section of the county, but will continue to focus on the history of the area as well as allow participants to view first-hand the workings of various agriculture and business enterprises.
The tour will begin at Finton Equipment, located just off U.S. Route 36, 3 miles east of Coshocton. Tour maps will be available at this first stop 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Saturday and noon until 3 p.m. Sunday.
Features. Some features of the tour are a dairy farm, alpaca farm, winery, orchard and Christmas tree farm. The lunch stop will be in Plainfield.
Tour brochures will not be available until the morning of Oct. 20 at Finton Equipment and participants are asked to stop there to pick up brochures and maps and to register.
The tour is free, but donations are appreciated.
