WEST SALEM, Ohio — Ten members of the Northwestern FFA Chapter had the opportunity to go to FFA Camp Muskingum, Carrollton, Ohio June 15-19.

 
Members Taylor Dawson, Spencer Deming, Sarah Maximovich, Rae Rempher, Cody Starling, Cody Tegtmeier, Mia Tope, Kaci Way, Austen Wood and Kierstyn Wood attended the weeklong event.

 
Members that attended camp participated in leadership workshops, service projects, team-building activities, and recreational activities.

 
Northwestern FFA officers also held a retreat and adopt-a-highway event June 22 -23. Ally Ruegg, David Miley, Ashley Dunn, Emily Flinn, Kaci Way, Shania Reed, Phil Eberly, Katie Stull, Cody Tegtmeier, Austen Wood, and Kierstyn Wood all attended this event.

 
The members went out and picked up litter along the road during the Adopt-A-Highway, then the officers traveled to Mohican Adventures campground for a day of fun and team building.

 
Around the campfire that night, the officers created goals for the chapter for the upcoming year, as well as discussed new activity ideas to get more members involved.

CHILLICOTHE, Ohio —Six members of the Zane Trace FFA chapter recently attended the first session of FFA Camp at Camp Muskingum near Carrollton, Ohio, June 1-5.

 
During their five days at camp, the members participated in a variety of activities centered around a pirate theme. Some of them were designed to help students develop their leadership skills and included workshops on teamwork and communication skills led by state FFA officers.

 
Older members also had the opportunity to participate in a service project during which they led games involving students and adults from a special needs school in Carrollton.

 
More than 280 FFA members attended this session of camp.
