MILLERSBURG, Ohio – There will be a forages for horses school Nov. 20-21 in Mount Hope, Ohio.
The event will address questions about quality and quantity of forage.
It will be 7-10 p.m. each night at Mrs. Yoder’s Kitchen Restaurant.
Resource people from the Ohio Forage and Grasslands Team at Ohio State University and local resources will be present. Topics include hay, pasture, horse nutrition, poisonous plants and more.
Preregistration is due by Nov. 15. Cost is $40 for the first person and an additional $10 for each additional participant from the operation.
