Huff Run Fun Day set for Aug. 23 in Mineral City, Ohio

MINERAL CITY, Ohio – The Huff Run Watershed Restoration Partnership will host the fourth annual Huff Run Fun Day Aug. 23 in the Mineral City Park.

A parade will kickoff the day at 10 a.m. and the event will last until 3 p.m.

The event will feature a duck pond and a Kids Safety Round Up put together by the Ohio State University Extension of Carroll County.

In addition, there will be a mini garage sale, a 15-speed Mt. Fury mountain bike giveaway, clowns, a 4-H group and plenty of food and other booths and games displayed by area environmental agencies and local organizations.

There will also be a display of old photos and other memorabilia about Mineral City.

Admission is free and door prizes will be given out. Winners must be present to receive prizes. The event will be held, rain or shine. For more information call 330-339-5584.
