WOOSTER, Ohio — Local Roots Market and Cafe will hold a special harvest dinner Oct. 30 from 6-9 p.m. The five-course dinner will feature all local foods from several Local Roots producers, including meat, dairy, produce and baked goods.

Tables, flatware, and other serving ware have been donated by All Events Rental. The evening’s entertainment will also include live music and a post-dinner dance with dance steps taught by Mary Drozd and Jeremy Smith.

Cost

Tickets for the harvest dinner are $60 per person and $100 per couple. All proceeds will help fund the new Local Roots Cafe.

Pre-registration is required as space is limited. Stop by the market or email Jerrod Weyer, head chef of the Cafe, at jerrod.weyer@localrootswooster.com, to make your reservation. Include your request for lamb, beef or vegetarian options, any special dietary needs and a phone number where you can be reached for confirmation.

Deadline

Tickets will be sold until all spaces are filled or until Oct. 26.

The market, at 140 S. Walnut St. in Wooster, is currently open on weekdays from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
