N.C. antiques show kicks off spring

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Head south this spring for the Metrolina Antiques and Fine Collectibles Show, April 3-7.

The show features approximately 2,000 vendors, including dealers from Europe and Canada.

For five days, this 90-acre plus site is transformed with antiques, furniture, rugs, decorative accessories, collectibles, paintings, vintage clothing, linens, china, crystal, silver, toys, and hundreds of thousands of other treasures.

Plans are to add 30 big top tents to the 100,000+ square feet of permanent exhibit space.

The show opens at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, April 3, for a sneak preview. The $50 admission charge includes a five-day pass good for the whole show. April 4 is early buyer’s day, and a four-day pass is offered on this day for $25.

Hours on Friday and Saturday are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. with a $7 admission for adults; $4 for seniors 62 and older; children 12 and under are admitted free. Sunday hours are 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. with a $7 admission for adults; $4 for seniors.

The Metrolina, Antiques & Fine Collectibles Show offers free parking and a shuttle service throughout the parking lot. The show is located at 7100 N. Statesville Road, north of Charlotte, N.C., off Interstate 77 at Exit 16A.
