COLUMBUS – Alumni from The Ohio State University College of Food, Agricultural and Environmental Sciences are invited to attend a special program highlighting the Department of Animal Sciences at Fallfest 2002, Oct. 26.
Fallfest will be held in conjunction with the Penn State vs. OSU football game.
A 9 a.m. program at the Animal Sciences building on the Ohio State main campus will feature efforts by the Department of Animal Sciences and OSU Extension to help create new market opportunities for Ohio Beef Producers, including the Ohio Family Farm Beef Industry Network.
There will be an update on happenings within the department and attendees can tour the meat laboratory and visit with faculty and staff.
Also planned is a tailgate party at the Animal Sciences Building that will feature new beef product development ideas that are being researched for sale to the public.
