BEAVER, Pa. – Penn State Cooperative Extension of Beaver County will offer a pesticide update meeting Oct. 20, 7:30-9:30 p.m., at the Beaver County Ag and Environmental Education Center at 1000 Third St. in Beaver.
The same meeting will also be offered Oct. 16, 7:30-9:30 p.m., at the Lawrence County Extension office, Courthouse Annex in New Castle.
Two core and two category 01 Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture pesticide license update credits will be available for those who attend.
Cost is $2 to cover the cost of materials.
Applicator exams for private, commercial and public applicators will be given at the Beaver meeting only, beginning at 7 p.m.
Commercial and public applicators taking the exam will be charged $50 for core and $10 for category exams payable that evening. Only checks or money orders payable to the “Commonwealth of PA” will be accepted.
