Photo contest focuses on Pennsylvania’s natural beauty

HARRISBURG, Pa. – Summer may be fading fast, but there is still plenty of time to participate in the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission’s annual amateur photography contest.

To enter, amateur photographers may submit original works taken in Pennsylvania that illustrate the beauty of the Keystone State’s fishing, boating, and aquatic resources.

Categories. Images may be entered in one of five categories: seasonal fishing/boating, family fishing/boating, young anglers/boaters, fishing/boating resources and reptiles/amphibians/aquatic invertebrates.

Applicants are limited to a maximum of two entries per category.

Contest winners will receive a set of limited edition commission patches.

Winning photographs may be featured in Pennsylvania Angler & Boater Magazine, the Keystone State’s official fishing and boating magazine, on the commission’s Web site, and in publications and exhibits.
