Shorthorns steal the show at KILE

HARRISBURG, Pa. – A record-setting number of beef cattle passed through the show arena during the 2007 Keystone International Livestock Exposition. Nearly 1,400 head representing 13 breeds vied for the exposition’s top spot.
A panel of 13 judges, one representing each of the breeds, chose the two winners.
Back for a repeat performance to win supreme champion female was CF Roan Rose 54 TPX ET, a Shorthorn exhibited by Cates Farm and Caney Valley Farms of Modock, Ind.
As part of its winnings, the farm secured the use of a Wilson cattle trailer for one year from EMM Sales and Service.
The Supreme Champion Bull, CSC All In 256-ET, was exhibited by Sara Campbell of Sycamore, Pa. This early spring yearling Shorthorn bull earned $1,000 in cash from EMM Sales and Service.
