Soggy bottoms

People passing by Scott McDonald’s farm south of Damascus in Columbiana County got lots of laughs last week after the dairyman, frustrated with the wet weather, was inspired to make light of his situation. He said he barely got hay off the field at the homestead on Valley Road when he dropped the plow and borrowed a neighbor’s rowboat to set up the scene. McDonald’s project was dismantled over the weekend so he could plow and plant corn.
