SALEM, Ohio – Farm and Dairy is accepting resumes for its paid summer editorial internship.
The intern will work with the news department and work in the Salem, Ohio, office.
The intern will help edit and rewrite news releases for publication, cover events and county fairs in the circulation area, and write hard news and feature articles. Some photography skills are needed; multimedia experience helpful.
Individuals applying for the position must be working toward a bachelor’s degree in journalism, ag communication or a related field. Basic newswriting/journalism class is a prerequisite. Farm experience is preferred.
The internship will begin in May or June, depending on the successful candidate’s academic calendar, and will run for approximately 12 weeks.
Applicants should submit a resume, cover letter and writing examples. At least five individuals must be listed as references. Deadline is April 1, 2007.
