CARROLLTON, Ohio – Auction Larry Garner recently held his annual three-day auction featuring rental construction and farm equipment.

Top-selling items included a Caterpillar 307 hydraulic excavator for $21,500; Caterpillar D-3, $13,500; 1991 JLG 40-foot manlift, $9,500; JLG Sizzor lift, $3,000; Clark all-terrain 6,000-pound forklift, $6,760; and a 1997 Daewoo skid steer loader, $8,000.

A 1997 Gehl skid steer loader sold for $7,000; Mustang 2040 skid steer, $7,000; Thomas 105 skid steer, $8,700; Bobcat Hammer, $3,750; Komatsu D-31 bulldozer, $12,500; John Deere bulldozer, $10,250; Case 580 KTLB 4 by 4, $17,000; 1994 GMC dump truck, , $13,500; 1997 Ford F450 Rollback, $10,500; 1987 International dump truck, $7,900;

10-ton trailer with air, $5,100.

A 1998 30-foot camper trailer sold for $13,500; 1989 GMC bucket truck, $8,000; Leisure Time Play Ground items, $1,000 to $1,200; advertising balloons, $175 to $300; and reconditioned copiers, $200 to $675.

The auction was attended by 1,163 registered bidders.


CARROLLTON, Ohio – Auction Larry Garner sold 319 firearms to buyers from seven states at a recent auction in Carrollton, Ohio.

A Winchester M-42 410-gauge pigeon grade No. 1 factory engraved with original box sold to a buyer from North Carolina for $8,500.

A Winchester M-97 diamond grade 16-gauge trap sold for $2,250; a Winchester M-63 22-caliber with box, $500; case set Remington model 1100, 410-gauge and 28-gauge, $825; Sharps 1863, 52-caliber rifle; $1,500; 18-inch Marble Game Getter 22, $1,700.

A Remington 1858 44-caliber pistol with box and accessories, $2,550; Sharps 50/70-caliber rifle, $2,550; 1860 Spencer, $2,650.

A Winchester M-1876 45/75 rifle sold for $2,000; Winchester M-1892, 44-40 with letter $1,400; Winchester M-1873 44-40 with letter, $1,200; Winchester M-1886 45/40 rifle, $1,475.
