FREMONT, Ohio – American Presidents: Life Portraits, a special series of commissioned presidential portraits is on display at the Rutherford B. Hayes Presidential Center through June 19.
C-SPAN’s ground-breaking 1999 television series goes on tour in this traveling exhibit of 41 original oil paintings of U.S. Presidents done by a single artist, Pennsylvania resident Chas Fagan.
C-SPAN commissioned the paintings to complement its American Presidents: Life Portraits series.
Each of the 41 panels in the exhibit includes a Presidential portrait accompanied by a biography, as well as photographs and prints from the White House Historical Association.
The center is open Monday through Saturday, 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.; Sunday, noon to 5 p.m.
Admission is $6 for adults; $2 for children; $5 for seniors.
