SALEM, Ohio — Now in their fifth year as owners of Colian’s Stone Pit in Salem, Ohio, Tony and Debbie Colian are looking to expand their product lines to better meet their customers’ needs.
Joined by son Tim, the Colians offer landscaping supplies, mulches, limestone, top soil, mushroom compost, mason sand, decorative stones, plants and shrubs, wallstones, flagstones, and they are the area’s largest Belgard dealer stocking all pavers, with Keystone, Celtic Wall and Versa Lok retaining wall systems.
Over the past year, Colian’s Stone Pit expanded its displays of new, decorative stone bins and offers a wider variety of natural wallstone products. They also began installing patios and retaining walls. The Colians credit their son for taking the lead on this project.
They see rising gas prices as a challenge, since delivery prices are affected, but people still love to landscape their yards and Colian’s Stone Pit is striving to meet those needs.
