Ingredients
- vegetable oil spray
- 1/2 acceptable margarine
- 1 sugar
- 2 egg whites
- 1 1/2 s applesauce
- 2 s all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1/2 raisins
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°.
Lightly spray 9-inch square cake pan with vegetable oil spray. In large mixing bowl, cream margarine with sugar until fluffy. Add egg whites and beat well. Add applesauce and beat. In medium bowl, sift dry ingredients together. Add to margarine mixture and mix well. Stir in raisins. Pour into prepared pan and bake 45 minutes. Serve warm. Serves 9.
