- 1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling, drained and syrup retained
- 1/8 cup sweet sherry or sweet red wine
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- 1 cup orange marmalade
- 1 (5 to 7 pounds) ham
Combine cherry pie filling syrup (reserve the whole cherries) with sherry, orange juice, and marmalade, whisking until combined. Bake ham according to package directions. Thirty minutes before ham is done, remove from oven and score fat in a criss-cross diamond pattern. Coat ham with the cherry orange glaze. Bake an additional 30 minutes, basting with pan juices every 10 minutes, or until ham is done. Garnish finished ham with the reserved whole cherries and serve. Makes about 2 cups sauce.
