Chocolate Chip Ice Cream



  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 pint double/heavy cream
  • 3 oz. sugar
  • 5 oz. plain chocolate (grated)
  • Directions

    Place milk and sugar into saucepan and heat gently, dissolving sugar. Place milk to one side to cool and when cold, stir in cream. Transfer complete mixture into an ice cream maker and freeze following manufacturer?s instructions BUT remember to add grated chocolate as the ice cream begins to thicken.
    Suggestion: Combine chocolate chip ice cream with chocolate chip cookies to make your own ice cream sandwiches.
