In double boiler melt 1/2 cup morsels; stir until smooth and set aside. Combine dry ingredients (except sugar); set aside. Combine butter, sugar and vanilla; beat until creamy. Beat in egg; blend in melted morsels, add flour mixture. Shape dough into ball, wrap in waxed paper, and chill 1 hour. Roll dough to 3/16 inch thickness, cut with cookie cutter. Bake at 350° 8 to 10 minutes. Cool
completely. Dip 3/4 of cookie into glaze and shake off excess. Place on waxed paper and chill 10 minutes.

Combine all ingredients over hot water (double boiler) stir until smooth.
