Cream Cheese Frosting

Try this frosting with our Carrot Cake Cupcake recipe.

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup butter, softened
  • 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • ¼ tsp. salt
  • 4 cups powdered sugar

Directions:

  1. Combine butter and cream cheese in a medium bowl and beat until creamy and well-combined.
  2. Add vanilla extract and salt and stir well to combine.
  3. With the mixer on low, gradually add powdered sugar until completely incorporated.
  4. Use to frost cooled cake or cupcakes.
