- 1/2 stick butter (1/4 cup)
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 cups blueberries (or fruit of choice peaches, cherries, apples)
Melt butter in iron skillet. Mix dry ingredients with milk; pour into warm skillet with melted butter. Add fruit*, bake at 350° for approximately 30 minutes.
*If using frozen fruit, be sure to thaw and drain well before using.
