Ingredients:
- 2 small yellow onions, halved and sliced
- 1/2 cup jalapeno slices
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 2 tbsp. dry white wine
- 12 all-beef hot dogs
- 12 hot dog buns
- 2 (8 oz.) tubs cream cheese softened
- 2 cups crumbled bacon pieces
- Optional: jalapeño kettle chips, yellow mustard, sriracha
Directions:
- Heat a large skillet over medium/medium-low heat.
- Once hot, add in butter, sliced onions and jalapenos. Cook for about 15 to 20 minutes, or until golden brown and caramelized. In the last minute or two, deglaze the pan with a couple splashes of dry white wine. Cook until the wine has absorbed. Set aside.
- Cook hot dogs until warmed through in an air fryer and toast buns until golden brown.
- Take one toasted bun and smear on cheese cream and top with bacon pieces. Place a hot dog in the bun and top with caramelized onions and jalapeños
- and other additional toppings, as desired.
