Spaghetti Pie

Crust Ingredients:

  • 6 ounces spaghetti, cooked
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ cup parmesan cheese

Cheese Layer Ingredients:

  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 Tbsp. parsley
  • 1 tsp. Italian seasoning

Meat Sauce Ingredients:

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • ½ sm. onion diced
  • 2 cups pasta sauce
  • 1/2 cups mozzarella cheese

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 F.
  2. Cook spaghetti and drain. Toss with butter. Stir in eggs and parmesan cheese.
  3. Place spaghetti in a greased deep dish pie plate. Press to form a crust.
  4. Combine ricotta cheese, parsley and Italian seasoning. Spread mixture over spaghetti.
  5. Brown beef and onion until no pink remains. Drain any fat. Add pasta sauce. Simmer 10 minutes or until thickened. Spread over ricotta cheese.
  6. Bake 20-25 minutes.
  7. Top with mozzarella and bake an additional 5 minutes or until cheese is melted.
  8. Cool 10 minutes before serving.
