- 2 egg whites
- pinch of salt
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 4 Tbsp. melted butter
- 1 lb. pecans or walnuts
- Beat egg whites, add salt and beat until stiff.
- Stir in brown sugar and butter. Mix in the nuts.
- Place on cookie sheet and bake at 250° for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Cool and store in airtight container.
