Shearer Equipment is a full line John Deere dealer in northcentral Ohio with locations in Wooster, Mansfield, Mount Vernon, Monroeville, Copley, Medina and North Royalton.

It sells and services the following lines of John Deere Equipment: lawn & garden, agricultural, commercial, skid steers. It also carries lines from Brillion, Frontier, H & S, Killbros, Kuhn, Kuhn Knight, and Pikrite among others.

Shearer Equipment has 55 employees with a total of 2,076 hours of AMS training.

New products

The new 6R series tractors feature the John Deere PowerTech engines along with the new Direct Drive transmission; all you do is choose one of three ranges and it’s automatic from there (the manual mode is also available).

These 170-210-hp tractors are ideal for livestock, dairy or row crop operations.

Another weapon to help make quick and easy work of those haymaking tasks is the all-new 2013 9 Series Round Balers. These balers can be run in any crop, large or small windrows and feature components such as higher-quality Diamond chains, quicker gate cycle time and a redesigned output shaft for more flexibility and less downtime.

    I was very disappointed when I picked up my chain saw blade at North Royalton today. The blade was new and needed only a slight sharpeneing. However, they ground 30% of the teeth halfway off and the others were blackened by extreme heat from hogging off the metal. This was a very unprofessional job. I may get 1 more sharpening before I have to junk the $21 blade.
