Pennsylvania catching up with Texas natural gas production

With declining rural populations, farm groups in some states have expressed concerns about agricultural labor and reiterated a need for immigration reform. Ohio and Pennsylvania aren’t major states for livestock processing, and many Ohio farmers, in particular, are growing row crops, which doesn’t require a lot of workers compared to crops like fruits and vegetables. United Dairy Farmers gets $634,000 from USDA to expand ethanol sales
Cincinnati-based United Dairy Farmers Inc. was awarded $634,000 through the USDA's Higher Blends Infrastructure Incentive Program to expand ethanol sales at its convenience stores and gas stations. Nearly $26 million was given out to projects in 23 states in this round of funding.
Four public hearings scheduled for solar farms in Ohio
Public hearings are scheduled in Ohio for four proposed utility-scale solar farms that would cover more than 8,000 acres of land and generate more than 800 megawatts of power.
