Hazard A Guess: Week of May 29, 2003.

Hello from Hazard!

As I mentioned last week, we had an early deadline for all sections of Farm and Dairy this issue because of the Memorial Day holiday. It’s small wonder, then, that the mailbag was empty of Hazard-ous responses.

For the final week (I promise), here’s another look at a true mystery item shared by Les Howell of Beach City.

It’s 20 inches long and 5 1/2 inches high and wide. The top and bottom both slide, but the inner compartment dividers don’t move. There are holes everywhere on it.

I did receive one guess from Edward Wanchock of Sewickley, Pa., but – begging your pardon, Edward – we’ll hold the admitted “wild guess” until next week, too.

Send photos of your own hazard-ous items, along with a clear, detailed description as to dimensions and use, to: Hazard a Guess, P.O. Box 38, Salem, OH or via e-mail to: editorial@farmanddairy.com.

If you’ve got an idea on this week’s item, use them contact information listed above.
