Hmmm… Farm and Dairy fits in a stocking, doesn’t it?

Time flies, as we know all too well. What I am realizing more and more is that there are interesting ways in which the passing of time is noticed and measured.
I had a great-aunt who once said she could remember in her younger days, she would rush to get the daily newspaper to see who was getting engaged, or who was graduating from special training or college.
News hound. She was interested in the news of young men heading off to military service, as they were her peers, many who headed off to World War II. In the coming years, she was fascinated by the wedding write-ups in the local newspaper, focusing on every little detail of each big event.
In no time, her favorite place to turn in the paper was the little column titled “Around the corner

Judith Sutherland, born and raised on an Ohio family dairy farm, now lives on a 70-acre farm not far from the area where her father’s family settled in the 1850s.
