ST. CLAIRSVILLE, Ohio — The Bits-Bridles 4-H club met at the Belmont County Saddle Club, Nov. 9.

Club members held a riding session, and discussed the Christmas parade held Nov. 18. The club also decided to hold a Christmas party Dec. 4. It was also determined Dec. 14 is when the election of officers would take place.

ELLSWORTH, Ohio — The Western Reserve Rangers 4-H Club held its annual member recognition program Nov. 11.

Haleigh Platt received the 4-H Spirit Award. Ashley Algarin and Gabriella Marinescu reported on visiting the Ohio 4-H Leadership Camp. Delorean Jones talked about visiting the Ohio Shooting Sports Camp at OSU.

The OSU Extension staff chose Elizabeth Marinescu and Hannah Shrader to be volunteer counselors at the Ohio Military Kids Camp at Kelly’s Island.

Cheyenne Rowbotham, Robert Voland and Delorean Jones were recognized for assisting with the 4-H Haunted Hayride at Boardman Park. Delorean Jones commented on her trip to Columbus with the Mahoning County 4-H staff to attend the Ohio Carteens Workshop.

The Ranger 4-H advisers encouraged the teens attending to apply for acceptance into the Ohio 4-H Ambassador Program.

Western Reserve Rangers 4-H Club invited all youth 8 through 18 to come to their Jan. 13, 2011, meeting.
