BERLIN, Ohio — The Hiland FFA chapter officers were invited to join the Holmes County Farm Bureau in discussing future sponsorship and getting to know what the Hiland FFA does.
FFA members shared the experiences that Nikyta Engstrom had the past two years at Ohio Leadership Camp.
They also discussed the annual jackpot sheep show, held by the FFA chapters of West Holmes and Hiland high schools. The Farm Bureau donated $200 dollars, which went to cover the prizes.
The jackpot sheep show was held at the Holmes County Fairgrounds. The top five in the sheep show were grand champion, Lucas Tuck; reserve champion and fifth place, Logan Harvel; third, Meghann Winters; and fourth, Justin Howell. There were 134 market lambs exhibited.

VINCENT, Ohio — Three members of the Warren FFA chapter recently attended Ohio Leadership Camp.
Bailey Welch, Logan Renner and Skyler Hayes were part of more than 100 Ohio Farm Bureau youth and FFA members and advisers who participated. The camp was held at FFA Camp Muskingum in Carrollton, Ohio.
The camp featured leadership training sessions, which were conducted by national FFA leadership development staff. They also participated in a living history activity about the Underground Railroad.

MILLERSBURG, Ohio — West Holmes FFA also sent a group to the Ohio Leadership Camp at FFA Camp Muskingum in Carrollton, Ohio.

 

Attending were: Dylan Harsh, Paige Miller, Jason Jenkins, Hannah Schlegel, Chris VanSickle, Lyndsey Davis, Carter Smith, Racheal Yerian, Lexi Kinstle, Kara Leadbetter and Dakota McCartney.
They participated in a number of leadership sessions and also took part in the living history experience.
