CINCINNATI – The Cincinnati Museum Center will host the tour, An Eastside Sampler of Historic Churches, July 25 from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Participants will tour Old St. Rose Church on the Ohio River, built in 1869, and the Columbia Baptist Church (1865), which traces its roots back to the first church in the Northwest Territory in 1792. The group will visit Church of the Redeemer (Episcopal) with its unique contemporary cross and woven tapestries, the Knox Presbyterian Church noted for its architecture and stained glass windows, and the Lee Chapel AME Church in O’Bryonville.
Cost is $55 for museum center members; $60, nonmembers. Registration deadline is July 18.
