Jersey named World Dairy Expo supreme champion

MADISON, Wis. — More than 74,000 people attended the 2016 World Dairy Expo, including 3,100 registered international guests from 102 countries. This was the 50th anniversary of World Dairy Expo, which also drew 2,434 head of dairy cattle for the various breed shows and sales.

The supreme champion was Musqie Iatola Martha-ET, the grand champion of the International Jersey Show, exhibited by Milk Source LLC, Kaukauna, Wisconsin. The reserve supreme champion was the grand champion Holstein, Sheeknoll Durham Arrow, exhibited by Sheeknoll Farms, Rochester, Minnesota.

Supreme champion of the junior show was Silvermaple Windham Camille, exhibited by Christian Cunningham and Miles Price, Penngrove, California; reserve supreme champion of the junior show: Cutting Edge T Delilah, exhibited by Kyle Barton, Ancramdale, N.Y.

International Ayrshire Show

Grand champion female: Margot Patagonie, exhibited by Ferme Margot, Ste Perpetue, Quebec; reserve grand champion female: Bear-Ayr Burdette Ray, exhibited by Budjon Farms and Peter Vail, Lomira, Wisconsin.

Grand champion of the junior show: Cedarcut Burdette Clove Colata, exhibited by Erin Curtis-Szalach, Cazenovia, N.Y.; reserve grand champion: Scapeland DB Sicily, exhibited by Dacey Anechiarico, Whiting, Vermont.

International Brown Swiss Show
