SALEM, Ohio – Lace up your walking shoes and join Salem’s third annual Twilight Mile Walk. The event will precede the Star Trax 5K Run July 27 at 8:15 p.m. at Salem’s Reilly Stadium.
The event will offer a one-mile or 11/2-mile course option.
In addition to the walk, the event includes entertainment, door prizes, refreshments and free health screenings by Salem Community Hospital clinicians. Hospital staff members will conduct health screenings and physical therapists will be available to assist with stretching and warm-up exercises.
Register early. The registration fee is $10 prior to the event, and $12 the night of the event. All pre-registrants will receive a shirt and gifts, and prizes will be awarded.
Proceeds from both events will benefit the Salem High School Cross Country and Track Programs. Registration forms may be obtained at the Salem Sport Shop in Salem, Second Sole in Boardman and Runners’ Supply in Canton.
