Wow! One out of every seven loads of milk is exported — that is one day every week that the total U.S. milk production is exported.
2013 exports are on track to increase 25 percent from 2012. Top quality dairy products and ingredients are being sold in the world market. I am told that the price tracks the Class III price for dairy producers.
Who would ever have thought a few years ago that yogurt sales would also be a bright spot for sales.
