CINCINNATI – The Cincinnati Museum Center will host “Stars Over Cincinnati,” a special reception from 7:30-10 p.m. April 19 at the Cincinnati Observatory in Mount Lookout.

Visitors can view Venus, Jupiter and Saturn through the world’s oldest operational telescope and learn why President Adams laid the observatory’s original cornerstone on Mount Adams in 1843. Tour the National Historic Landmark and discover how 19th century astronomers determined time for Cincinnati and how the first U.S. weather prediction was accomplished.

Cost for center members is $25; nonmembers, $30. Registration deadline is April 17.
