Rock ‘n’ roll barn a special sight in Holmes County

Artist Rusty Baker’s barn is like no other. With more than 20 popular performers from rock ‘n’ roll to country painted on its walls, the barn along Holmes County Road 150 is a major standout.

Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Dolly Parton, The Beatles — they’re all a part of Baker’s barn, which has seen viewers from across the country. Take a look at the different performers shown in these pictures. Or, if you’d like, plan a day trip to this beautiful county and shoot your own pictures from the road.

Be mindful, the barn is a public display but is privately owned by the artist, who lives in a nearby home.

  1. Alright, I’m a 16 year old Triway student and athlete that would never consider taking an hour long road trip to see a barn. But when my friends and I made the “pilgrimage” as we call it, it was WELL worth it. These pictures don’t give the AWESOMENESS of this barn credit. It’s quite the sight to see in person. All four of my group got a picture matching the Elvis poses under Presley and Hank. Wonderful experience, really.

  2. Hi. I would like to drive our residents of McMullen Asst’d Care in Loudonville to see your barn. Is it something they need to get out and see, can we drive around it, or is there anything inside to see? Is there someone who could meet us there and tell us about it or if there is info, I can read it to them.
Please let me know. thank you. Mona McMullen
