MASSILLON, Ohio — Whether it’s heating your home in the winter or cooling down in a swimming pool in the summer, ComforTec is a company to keep in mind.
The family-owned business, located at 13221 Lincolnway West, Massillon, has been serving the region for 34 years. It offers: home heating products, like stoves, fireplaces or inserts; swimming pool equipment; hot tubs; pellet, propane and natural gas grills; and offers expert advice before you take the first step.
Product lines include Xtrodinair, Lopi, Avalon, Regency, Morso and EnergyKing fireplaces; Traeger wood pellet barbecue grills; Grill wood pellet smokers; Nordic hot tubs. All lines are fully serviced and installed by the company.
Founded in 1979, ComforTec is owned by Toylene Jones. In 1988, the company moved to the corner of state routes 172 and 93, and has experienced continuous growth since then. Currently, ComforTec employs five full-time workers and up to five part-time employees.
Business was brisk in 2012, said Jones, due in part to the economy picking up, and a warm summer, which kept workers busy servicing pools!
